November brings to close the 2017 season for SEMPPES and the November meeting kicked off the Holiday season in fine fashion. WOW! The turnout was excellent and the food, well what can I say, as always O'Kelly Banquet hall does a fantastic job with dinner. For our first meeting January 18th Doug Klingensmith of Unconventional Solutions will have James Holden, the technical Director at Cortec Corporation, discuss emerging green solutions in corrosion protection. With the industy going green it will be interesting to see what James has for us.
Welcome Ed Kachadoorian as our new Board member. Ed will step in as the Sergeant at Arms 2018 replacing Scott Kaplan. Ed is a long time member and will make a great addition to the Board.
Finally, this will be my final Newsletter as President of SEMPPES. It has been my pleasure to serve as a member of the Board. I have enjoyed every minute and have made some great new friends along the way.
To all my friends, enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving and have Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
