May 16, 2024 we met at Bakers of Milford. Craig Koch VP of Engineering from Hydro Reserve, Wahaso, discussed Degassing with Hollow Fiber Technology to 18 members.
There was no “Best Recruiter” prize of $50.00; although there were new attendees John Dudek and Roy Rabban, whom we hope to convert to new membership for 2025.
For all meetings in 2024 the Member who brings the most new members to the meeting will receive a “Best Recruiter” prize of $50.00.
Remaining 2024 Meeting Schedule
June 20, 2024: No meeting scheduled, summer break.
July 26, 2024, 7:00 am (Shotgun Start 8:30 am) @ Mystic Creek: 34th (can you believe it?) Annual Golf Outing. Please reach out to the Board if you have swag to offer up as door prizes! This event is our largest source of funding for the year; hope to see you all there! Note tickets are now available for purchase; as of today we have 23 and 1/2 foursomes signed up.
August 2024: No meeting, summer break.
September 19, 2024: Facility Tour TBD. If you would like to host a tour of your facility, please reach out to the Board at [email protected]. If no-one volunteers by 6/15/2024 we will reach out to Dave Stenrose, Chief Boiler Inspector for the State of Michigan to present on LARA / Boiler Code news.
October 17, 2024, 4:30 pm @ Bakers of Milford: Armstrong International presenting on Steam Trap testing.
November 8, 2024, 4:30 pm @ Weber’s Inn, Ann Arbor: Executive Board meeting. Note this is Friday, as requested. This meeting is for the current Board and all past presidents. One item for this meeting is approval of nominees for the new Board member, who will be an Engineer member. If you would like to be considered or have someone to nominate, please speak to us on or before the October meeting!
November 11, 2024, 4:30 pm @ Whiskeys on the Water: Camfil presenting on tool, tech and updates for air filtration. In addition to the presentation, all Members present will vote on any nominees for the 2025 Sergeant at Arms approved by the Executive Board.
December 2024: No meeting, holiday break.
