President's Monthly Message
Welcome SEMPPES members to a new year of exciting events in 2025! I would like to express my gratitude to Past President John Philbrook and his leadership that supported the board for the past five years, including through the pandemic and left us with a great platform for continued growth, opportunities and financially stable.

If you have not renewed your membership, we ask that you please renew. There was an issue experienced with renewal and if you are having a difficult time please reach out to us for assistance at [email protected]. Our current membership level is at 39 members renewed.
As the annual transition of the board has been completed, we are well underway in starting to plan for our Annual Golf Outing. The plan is to have the registration up by the beginning of March with some alternative options for sponsorship and promotional opportunities for companies.
Our guest speakers for our meetings have been selected for the year, keep an eye out for all the meetings to be posted through the end of May. During our yearly executive board meetings, options have been discussed of potentially moving one of the meetings. The current board and some past presidents have been searching for venues that are centrally located, cost effective for the organization and provide in-house meals. If a new venue is located, we will discuss during our monthly meeting and publish the new venue accordingly.
At each meeting this year, we will continue to give away (5) $20.00 gift cards to those who are in attendance, starting in February.
If you have Linked-In please follow us and "like" the posts and re-post. This can be extremely helpful with recruiting new members, finding new guest speakers and promoting our organization.
As a reminder to the members and non-members, our website has an area dedicated to job postings. If you have a job posting you would like us to list, please reach out to the Board with the job description.
Many Past Presidents still stay in touch and contact each other outside of the meetings. Please remind all Past Presidents that February is Past Presidents Month and we would love to see all of them at February's meeting at Whiskey's on the Water!
